Mediterranean
Beaches with very fine sand marry the waters of Monopoli in Capitolo (24km), Savelletri di Fasano (18km) and Rosa Marina di Ostuni (18km). Ideal for families with children are the beaches of Torre Canne (13 km), famous for its spa, where the water is very shallow for several meters, perfect for walking, playing, sunbathing and having fun with the little ones. . Finally, the Marina di Ostuni, with about 20 km of coastline washed by a crystalline sea, where long beaches alternate with dunes and Mediterranean scrub, sandy coves and rocky coast.
Moving towards Bari, you will find the beautiful Polignano a Mare, with the famous "Cala Paura" beach, the setting for film sets.
Coast
Along the southern coast road, towards Brindisi, we find the Torre Guaceto Nature Reserve. A thousand hectares guarded by a sixteenth-century tower, woods, beaches, dunes, marshes, small streams and the most precious jewel, consisting of the beach of "shells". An incredible natural habitat rich in valuable species, which is included in the list of Marine Protected Areas. For this reason, bathing activities are only allowed in some sections, including the Punta Penna Grossa area, located on the Adriatic coast of upper Salento and served by a shuttle service.
