Symbol
Among the oldest trees in the world, the first discoveries in this land date back to 5,000 b.C., the olive tree is the most authentic symbol of Puglia more than any other element. In addition to being an ingredient for oil lamps and lamps, the Romans used the oil obtained from these plants both as an ointment for the beauty of the body, as a hypotensive and antidiabetic agent or in the treatment of fever and numerous heart diseases.
