The Cathedral of Maria della Santissima della Madia, together with the Castle of Carlo V and the Palazzo Martinelli Meo-Evoli, represents a triptych of historic buildings absolutely worth visiting.

The beaches are characterized by pristine dunes up to 10 meters high. There are numerous species of fauna that populate it. An ideal place for the nutrition and reproduction of the Caretta sea turtle, it occupies a total area of 110 hectares.

Egnazia
The finds from the archaeological area testify that the town existed from the Bronze Age to the Middle Ages. When the sea is calm and transparent, the columns of the temples appear white and still immersed in water. Its origins date back to the fifteenth century. B.C. they are testified by illustrious quotations from Horace and Pliny the Elder. Outside the city walls there is the National Archaeological Museum of Egnazia, inside the finds are organized in three different thematic exhibitions: the first on materials from the Bronze Age, the second on the history of the city and the third dedicated to relations between archeology and other scientific disciplines.

The coast to the north is very popular, characterized by the presence of ancient buildings on the cliff, near the sea, called "White Houses". Finally, a gem of the area is the nearby golf course, one of the best greens in Puglia, with 18 holes.

Carovigno (Brindisi)
A town of ancient origins, it appears to travelers with an architecture characterized by watchtowers gateways, churches and castles. On the highest point there is the Dentice di Frasso castle built in the 15th century. The chapel of Sant`Anna and the historic Porta Ostuni called Porta Nuova also belong to the castle. In the medieval historic center, the secondary access opens onto a street characterized by many small arches, known as Arco Del Prete. The historic public oven "Lu scattusu" is currently working.
